Today, and every day, I am so thankful for Addison. Being a mom is a wonderful thing. It is the BEST "job" in the world. Yesterday, I said I'm thankful for my nursing job. But, primary job is being a mom and it really is the greatest job in the world! I am so thankful that I am able to stay home with Addison and care for her. She is growing so fast and learning knew things on a daily basis. It's amazing to be able to watch her learn and grow!!
I'm constantly surprised by the things that she knows how to do, many of which she learned from me. This realization is very humbling. The other day, as she was reaching for something she wasn't supposed to touch (Kleenex box--she's already emptied one before!), I said Addison "no." She then shook her finger at the box and said "no, no." Later that day, I was singing the song "Oh be careful..." little Addison what you do, little hands what you touch, little feet what you do, etc. While thinking of extra verses to add, I thought, "Oh be careful Mommy & Daddy what you do." I'm thankful that I have parents who were good examples to me. My desire is to be a good example to Addison!
