A Good Visit

We got back home last night. We were able to visit Cody's uncle and his family in Scottsdale. We really had a good visit. Uncle Mark has made remarkable progress! He will be having surgery tomorrow, so please keep him in your prayers! He will be having his fractured pelvis repaired. They will also work to sort of "re-build" his legs, which were both broken in many, many different places. The bleeding on his brain has stopped and he was even awake when we saw him late Friday. Saturday and Sunday, he was more medicated, so he was sleeping, but doing well.

While we were in Scottsdale, we got to see Dave, an old friend from college. We had a great time "catching up" with him. He is moving to San Diego to start a restaurant business. We look foward to getting to go out there to visit him...what a great "excuse" to finally get to go to Sea World...someday, anyway!

I spent the day unpacking all of our "stuff" and cleaning the house. Addison was supposed to have her "1 Year Old" pictures taken today, but we had to reschedule due to the fact that she has a huge mosquito bite on her face. The pics will be done this Friday instead...I'm looking forward to them.

I'll start back on my excercise schedule tomorrow morning, so I'm sure I'll be pretty sore tomorrow night....or Wednesday for sure.

Finally, I wanted to post a picture of Cody and Addison that I took a couple weeks ago. I had worked the night before and Cody was "in charge" of watching Addison all day on this Saturday. When I woke up, at about two o'clock in the afternoon, the house was very quiet. I walked in the living room to find this:

It reminded me of this pic, which was taken when Addison was only 4 days old. My, how time flies!!!
