And a little "Addie Update." Addison has started "jabbering" more and more. She says, "Ma-ma", "Da-da", "Woof-woof" (when you ask "What does the doggy say?"), "baby", "ball", and "more." She is learning to recognize the names of things and will hand you whatever toy you ask for (duck, doll, block, ball, cup). She is able to stand on her own, but gets scared when she realizes that she isn't holding onto anything and sits down. She pulls herself up on everything and has tried climbing the stairs a few times. The highest she's gone is the third step, but Daddy caught her. She would've kept going until she fell, I'm afraid. So, we are working on teaching her that stairs are off limits. She also loves to "walk" when holding onto our fingers. She will walk holding two peoples' hands or when holding onto her stroller, but she hasn't tried to do it by herself yet. She also loves having books read to her. Her favorite book right now is a book about animals...she likes when we make the sounds.
