In the middle of March, I started to feel somewhat better and was able to start eating more. My body was so starving for food that it held on to everything I ate and I gained 8 lbs in one month! Definitely a crazy roller-coaster ride!
I'm now 19 weeks along and feeling much better. I've put on another 3 lbs, so I'm at 11 lbs total so far. I know you all don't care about that, but I love to look back and remember all these little things that I've forgotten...I still look back at my posts from when I was pregnant with Addison.
We also found out that we are having another baby girl! A few weeks before the ultrasound that showed we were having a baby girl, we were told that the baby was at high risk for having Down's syndrome. The ultrasound did not find any physical abnormalities with our precious girl--praise the Lord! While we will not know until she is born whether or not she has DS, we are just thankful to know that she is healthy and we are so in love with her already--whether she has 46 chromosomes or 47. Addison is so excited to have a little sister and she already has big plans for the 2 of them.
16 weeks pregnant:

18 weeks pregnant (huge change!):

The day of the ultrasound, when I asked Addison how much she loves her sister, she said, "This much!"

I took Addie shopping for some stuff for her baby sister and she picked out quite a few things--2 outfits, a bottle, some socks, and of course, a blanky.
