Addison's Birthday

This past Thursday, September 10, we celebrated Addison's first birthday...on Cody's 25th Birthday! He's such a good daddy and let his little girl have all the "attention" on his birthday. :) He even cooked 40 lbs. of meat on the grill! The theme of her party was "Our little Cupcake." Julie and I made and decorated 50 cupcakes (we made the buttercream icing too). And, we made a gigantic cupcake for Addison to "dig in" to. We had a great time!

I bought Addison a little potty chair because it was on clearance and I figured I would need it soon, so "why not buy it now?" When we got it out of the box, she wanted to sit on it and even went potty in it! She loves to sit on her potty chair (especially when she also gets to look at her book). She has been "successful" with both "#1" and "#2." I'm so proud of her!
