Where did September go???

The older I get, the faster time just flies by! September was a busy, busy month:

September 6-Addison's 2nd birthday
She was soooo excited about her cake...




...and her presents!


September 10-Cody's 26th birthday
Every year, I make Cody an apple pie for his birthday, since it's his favorite dessert. Well, except 2008...I didn't make one that year since I had just given birth 4 days before! :)

September 11-Grandma Loretta came to visit, Addison's birthday party
She had a fun time...and loved her pinata, but pics were not her top priority that day! Addison shares a birthday with Nate, so we had their party together!! So much fun!!



September 12-Cody sent to Ft. Worth, TX for his job.
Addison and I stayed here so I could work, and so we could spend the week with my grandma.

September 20-Addison's first day of "school."
She goes to "Promiseland Child Development Center" every Monday (while I work) and she absolutely LOVES it!! When she says, "Cheese!", she closes her eyes...



September 22-Addison and I took a roadtrip to Fort Worth to see Daddy in "Tex-this" as Addison calls it.

Since Cody was working, Addison and I explored Fort Worth...shopping, driving and the zoo! The elephants were her favorite:


She loves trains and was thrilled to get to ride the train, but when they gave us yellow tickets---she was ecstatic! There is an episode of "Dora the Explorer" where they get yellow tickets to ride carnival rides...need I say more?



Saturday, we all went to the Stockyards in Ft. Worth...it was pretty awesome to explore the old stockyards and look in all the little shops. We even got to see a cattle drive. It was a rainy day...but we still had a great time!






September 26-Came back from Texas (and brought Cody back too!!!). I love him!

September 28-Went to ABQ to see Andy "swear in" to the National Guard on September 29.

It has been a BUSY month!
