Well, I hope everyone is having a great new year...we are! I was able to drop back my work hours, beginning on January 18. Now, I am considered "On-Call" which means that I am required to work one 12-hour shift per month. I can work extras if I choose. For this schedule, I'm working two shifts. This is working out a lot better for me. I love being able to be home with Addison and take care of the house, and yet still use my nursing degree.

Addison had her first sick day on Tuesday. She had a runny nose for about a week, but on Tuesday, she ran a fever and just acted sick. She's getting better every day, but I can tell that she still doesn't feel good. I hated seeing her sick. I can't imagine how mothers who have children with serious illnesses must feel and this experience made me even more thankful that the Lord chose to give me a healthy child! God is sooooo good!!!
