Well, first off, sorry I haven't posted on here in FOREVER! Luckily though, no one really knows about this blog yet, so I guess I'm okay. I've had some issues with my home computer and internet connection...I can't post pics from here and I just recently got to the point where I could even connect to the internet. It's very frustrating. Anyways, I'm going to go to my mom and dad's sometime in the next couple of days and post all of my "belly pics" from 6 weeks through 39 weeks. And, I will also post some of the maternity pics that Carrie Culler took of us (I LOVE them).
I ended up starting my maternity leave on August 12 because I was soooo uncomfortable at work (having lots of Braxton Hicks contractions, lots of pelvic pressure too, which made it hurt to walk). I feel much more rested than I'm sure I would have if I had continued to work. Hopefully, this will make my "natural birth" much easier to attain...
I can't believe I'm 39 weeks and 2 days along! I am really, really, really, really ready to be done!!! I want the baby out. I want to know what "it" is and what he/she looks like, etc. Plus, I'm really uncomfortable. I've been having fairly regular spurts of BH contractions since 36 weeks. They get pretty uncomfortable (not painful, though) and very regular (5-7 min. apart). The longest bout lasted from Tuesday night at 8:00p.m. until Wednesday night around 7:00p.m. But, unfortunately, they never progressed, and so here I still sit...waiting! I've totally given up on the baby coming early, and am now hoping it will come on time because I really don't want to end up being induced.
Well, I guess I will go for now. I really am going to keep up on this better. I need to tell all of you guys about it so that I will do a better job of posting. I'll try to get the pics up very, very soon!
